The business has well-established and diverse operations that span the exploration and production of gas and oil; on-shore gas storage; generating power as one of the UK’s largest independent power producers; providing power and gas to thousands of business; and delivering services to more than 14,000 customer sites across the public and private sector.

They are now looking for a highly driven and results focused Business Account Manager to take responsibility for the sales and account management of a defined list of customers and Third Party Intermediaries.

Managing all elements of the sales and contract process, you will develop and maximise commercial opportunities, ensuring that customers and TPI’s receive a high level of service at all times. Negotiating gas and electricity supply contracts, ensuring the required renewal and hit rates are achieved, you will work with the Channel Manager to build and deliver structured relationships and ensure completeness and accuracy of data required to perform the contract, ensure a market leading service and experience for customers and TPI’s and maximise value at all times.

They are looking for an individual who has a strong customer focus, a high level of commercial acumen and the ability to build and manage positive customer relationships. With proven sales success, you will have knowledge of sales techniques and optimisation and be able to plan and develop against objectives. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are key, as is the ability to resolve complex issues. Industry experience is preferable; however, this is not essential.
