Paralegal- Contracts Assistant

The support team based in Leeds City Centre is looking to expand and develop its team due to natural attrition however they have also been awarded a number of specific projects that need staff to manage this.
Working in the commercial department with a particular responsibility for supporting the legal team's services. Legal team administration and reporting support. Planning support. Liaison with external counsel. SLA and reporting management. Management of matters and matters list. Contract support. Contract drafting.
Must have or be in progress of obtaining a law degree, ideally from a Russell Group University. Ideally together with LPC including a Commercial/IP paper. Must have excellent Microsoft skills. Must not be barred from being a solicitor. Experience of working in a public sector legal department would be an advantage. Experience of working in a telecommunication / ICT entity would be an advantage. Excellent stakeholder and client management skills 2) Project management skills 3) Basic drafting and review skills 4) Advanced MS Word and MS Excel skills 5) Basic knowledge of IP/ICT/Commercial law drafting NDAs, advice notes and basic licences; legal team administration; monthly billing support; process development; support review and approvals of contracts; litigation administration support.
