Exciting opportunity to join a local Shared Service Centre operating for a Global Japanese trading company. This position is a brilliant opportunity for either someone looking to gain experience and support across the management team or individuals with existing experience in a similar position looking for new challenges.
The role is varied providing support to the Directors/HR Manager and Managers of a fast paced, high volume process environment, with employees working to strict key performance indicators which include a very high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising diaries and appointments including meeting and greeting visitors of all levels of seniority as well as preparing meeting rooms providing high level of hospitality
- Arranging travel, visas, accommodation and expenses for Managers
- Assisting in the coordination of projects to ensure smooth flow of information
- Assisting with day to day operations of HR function and duties
- Providing clerical and administrative assistance to Directors and Senior Management team
- Assisting with recruitment needs, placing advertisements, coordinating prospective candidates
- Responsibility of ISO 9001 internal audits and maintenance of records and processes
Individual
- Good level of general education - Maths and English as a minimum
- An HR or Business Administration related qualification is preferable
- Experience of working in a confidential environment, dealing with sensitive information is preferable
- Proven basic office administrative skills
- Computer literate ( good knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Approachable and able to relate to people at all levels
- Attention to detail and methodical in work practices
- Discreet, diplomatic and able to handle sensitive information in confidence
Hours of work are non-peak Monday to Friday 8am -4 -peak (last working day and first four working days of the month) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Bank holiday working is included
