Training Coordinator (Assessor) – Carpentry & Bench Joinery

Part-Time: 20 hours per week over 2½ days / full year basis
Salary: £32,000 per annum pro rata (actual salary £16,000 per annum)
Based at our Corby Campus, we need a part-time Training Coordinator – Carpentry & Bench Joinery to coordinate the training for work-based provision and deliver and assess knowledge and competence components for work-based learners. The Training Coordinator will also ensure that tracking systems for work-based learners are updated regularly and accurately and establish and maintain effective relationships with employers and classroom based tutors to ensure regular communication about performance and progress.
To be shortlisted for this vacancy you will meet the essential criteria which includes Certificate in Education or equivalent, an NVQ or equivalent at level 3 in Carpentry and/or Bench Joinery and a TAQA Level 3 or equivalent qualification (or be willing to work towards. Experience of working in the Construction industry, particularly Carpentry and / or Bench Joinery is also essential, as is the ability to deliver training effectively based on current sector practices, knowledge and qualifications.
