Parts & Service Manager

Martin Pears Engineering Limited is a family owned business based at Halwell between Totnes and Kingsbridge on the A381 South Devon.  The business is continually expanding and has exciting plans for a new building for office and storage space in the next 12 months. 

The business retails agricultural machinery, tractors, quad bikes, UTV's, trailers and livestock equipment as well as having a very busy workshop and spare parts department. 

The workshop has 5 engineers and carries out repairs, maintenance and servicing to a wide range of agricultural and commercial equipment, carried out both internally and off site.

The role will entail managing the complete parts function (sourcing, ordering, supplying, restocking) for the workshop repairs and supply to customers, booking in of service work, managing the busy workshop and allocating jobs as well as Health and Safety compliance.

This is a varied role which requires a friendly, motivated, organised person preferably with some agricultural or motor vehicle or commercial experience.  You will be required to give a high level of customer service, be able to work alone and as part of a team, be willing to learn and enjoy a challenge.  Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills and a full driving licence are also necessary.  Training will be given.
