About the employer;

The nursery for this role is a standalone nursery which opened in 2002 supporting 63 children aged 6weeks - 5 years old. The nursery employs 34 staff which consists of a Nursery Manager, a Deputy Manager, a Third in Charge/Early Years Teacher, 2 Floor Supervisors, a Senior, Early Years Practitioners (both L2 and L3), an Apprentice, a Chef, a Cleaner and a lunch time cover. They have a fantastic staff team who are bubbly, fun and hard workers.

About the role;

The role is a Senior Nursery Worker which will require you to work 38 hours over 4 days between the hours of 7am - 6pm (these are the opening times of the setting). 2 of your 4 days will be an early shift starting at 7am and 2 will be later shifts of 8am - pm. Ideally you will have a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and will have 2 years experience within childcare. Nannies will be considered.

You will support the management team and your team within the room at all times. You will work hard to ensure that all staff members are well looked after and ensure that all children are receiving the best possible care possible.

About the ideal candidate;

The ideal candidate will be passionate, child focused, hard working, ambitious with a drive to succeed. You will be a strong team player who is able to work both as a team and as an individual.

You will also hold a Level 2 or 3 within Childcare, 2 years experience within childcare and will live in or around the area. Non drivers are able to apply as there are bus and train routes available.

A salary of £15,808 - £17,784 will be paid for a full time and permanent role within this well established nursery. A range of benefits are on offer for this role including childcare vouchers and the option of having your own children within the nursery.
