Role: Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP32000

We are currently looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Engineer to cover the south west.

This is a field based role and you will be covering south west area.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the Install and Commissioning of Gent / Advanced / Kentec
* Ensure adherence to the operational and customer KPIs and SLAs.
* Ensure high standards are maintained in respect of technical compliance to standards, health and safety and pay particular attention to statutory compliance across all building services in buildings/ services provided.
* Adopt high standards in the completion of their work. Ensure adherence to the "Safety Culture" within the daily working routine with all parts of the Fire division.
* Ensure that all operations comply with all company, legislative and best practice requirements, including Health, Safety, Environmental, Procurement and Employment practices.

What we are looking for

* Substantial quantifiable and demonstrable experience in a similar role, with previous experience in Fire Alarm Install and Commissioning
* Background in electronic fire operations.
* Knowledge of Gent / Kentec / Advanced
* Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH (5day)/ NEBOSH highly desirable.
* IT literate Management Information Systems, MS Word, Power point and Excel.
* Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
* Task focused as well as people centred.
* Highly focused and strong technical skills.
* Able to diagnose/analyse complex technical situations.
* Strong sense of urgency and desire to succeed.

FIA certificates would be a huge advantage although not essential as our client is willing to assist with the engineers training.
