This company is made up of a small team and need a experienced and capable individual to take responsibility for all of our warehouse and physical operations on site.
The role is principally centred around the daily physical operations of pick/pack/dispatch but the role includes all the organisational management and decision making required to ensure the smooth, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse.
The role would suit someone with several years warehouse experience but who is ready to increase their responsibility and scope of operations.
Some additional physical tasks are also necessary including but not limited to; occasional exhibition set up/dismantling, stand delivery/collection to exhibition site etc
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Manage all physical operations from daily floor sweeping to goods intake planning and storage through to bin replenishment, pick/pack/dispatch through to stock counts and consolidation.
- Facilitate team working to achieve enhanced performance with high accuracy.
- Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude and work to a high standard along with team members, leading by example.
- Get involved with day to day tasks to ensure that targets are met.
- Adhere to the companies standard operating procedures.
- Support the senior staff members to implement any improvement activities within the area.
- Monitor that all equipment is maintained and the work area you are responsible for is kept clean.
Personal Requirements:
- Experience of small warehouse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills with full working knowledge of MS word & excel.
- Organised, possesses high levels of attention to detail and demonstrates hard work.
- Ability to quickly build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Customer focused with experience of going above and beyond to reach targets.
- Able to quickly learn processes and identify improvements carried out by the Fulfilment Department.

This company is a small but busy accessories business, established for over 15 years they supply over 800 accounts around the UK and Europe.
