12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Trafford Housing Trust (THT) is an independent housing company providing more than 9,000 quality affordable homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. Joining us as a Senior Developer, you will have a good breadth of understanding of and considerable experience in full-stack development, ideally using the following technologies: C#, MVC, ASP.NET, stored procedures in SQL Server, Web Api, n-tier, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Visual Studio, TFS, CI/CD, .Net Core, Umbraco, Angular, and SharePoint Online. You will have strong UI/UX skills. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to very quickly “ramp up” where your skills may require a boost.
We’re looking for an individual who has experience in delivering projects both as part of a team and solo. You can work with stakeholders at all levels, and this ability is supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You will be comfortable with all aspects of the development lifecycle and you will be able to support the Lead Developer in challenging current practice where this is required, and effecting positive change in our techniques and processes. This will also include using your technical and professional expertise to support and advise others.
With good communication skills and experience of working within a team environment, you will use your technical and professional expertise to support and advise others.
Housing sector experience is welcome but not essential.
