Support Workers (Supported Living Service)

We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers for a gentleman within our Supported Living Service in Paignton, Torbay. This is an exciting opportunity with fantastic learning and development benefits.

Location: Paignton, Torbay
Salary: £8.35ph.  Sleep in duties, when required are usually between 9pm-7am paid at £75.00

A variety of shift patterns are available and include:

Shift 1: 8am-8pm

Shift 2: 10am-4pm

Shift 3: Waking duties 8pm-9pm (sleep in duties 9pm-7am) Waking duties 7am-8am

Shift 4:  Possible flexible shift patterns within Shifts 1-3 (can be discussed as part of the interview process but will be based on meeting the needs of the gentleman you will be supporting).

Havencare (South West) is a fast-growing charity that supports people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to lead fulfilling lives through opportunity and choice. These roles are based on the principles of the ‘Positive Behaviour Support Model’.

To support this gentleman, we are looking for a team of Support Workers to undertake both full-time and part-time roles within various shift patterns.

As an essential member of the team, you will provide care, offer support and enable independence as outlined in the job description. You will focus on the bespoke daily support and planned outcomes and think in a person-centred way, you will aspire to provide outstanding support and not settle for less.

Experience in supporting complex needs in a social care setting is advantageous, but we are looking predominantly for people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes for these roles.

Driving is not essential but would be advantageous.

This role has physical demands.
