Senior Project Worker

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Worker within a service at the heart of Bolton’s locality plan. Building on the strengths of individuals, families, partner agencies and communities, our client aims to deliver a flexible and innovative asset based approach to reduce and prevent homelessness in Bolton, improving outcomes for all. The main purpose of the Senior Project Worker role is to fulfil the aims and objectives of the projects, and provide support and supervision to staff. 

To be successful in this role as a Senior Project Worker you will have a good understanding of the needs of vulnerable and socially excluded people.  You will be experienced in overseeing a multi-disciplinary team and providing appropriate support and supervision to staff. You will have the ability to build effective partnerships with outside agencies to ensure the provision of vital support to service users.  A full list of responsibilities can be found on the role profile and person specifications but you will also have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to achieve positive outcomes; proven IT skills together with great organisational and time management abilities.

The ability to drive and access to a car for work purposes is desirable. In return we offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes; starting salary of £22,178 rising to £23,345 after successful probation period; 33 days’ holiday (including bank holidays) rising to 38 after service; 2 additional days’ holiday per year available based on attendance; Westfield Heath Cash Plan; Death in service policy; pension scheme; enhanced sick pay, maternity pay and paternity pay and child care vouchers.
