Junior Designer/Garment technologist required to work for the UK's premiere gothic, alternative, and lifestyle brand.
Role:
To provide support to the design and technical team in their day to day duties
Responsibilities including but not limited to :
- General office administration, data entry and cataloguing
- Computer generated presentation drawing for range planing and sales catalogues
- The preparation of design drawings, garment specs, technical packs, and presentation catalogues
- The measurement, fit assessment, and recording of design development samples
Qualifications:
- Reliable,organised and hard working
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Possessing excellent CAD drawing skills: able to create clear design and technical sketches
- Knowledge of garment construction and specifications
- Ability to work to one's own initiative as well as with in the team
- A keen interest or understanding of alternative fashion
- Educated to degree level or equivalent with at least 1 to 2 years experience in the role
The role is based in their Central Brighton offices, is full time, and would be on a freelance basis with flexible working hours. Pay dependent on experience.
