Position: Commercial Vehicle Body Builder
Location: Romsey
Start Date: ASAP
Client
Our client SHB is a national vehicle rental business who are looking to recruit a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder to join their Romsey team.
Duties
•The main responsibilities in this role will be to carry out new vehicle builds and repairs & modifications to various Fleet vehicles of various types, i.e. Specialist Traffic Management vehicles, Flat bed drop sides ,Tippers & Beavertails including fitting of hydraulic ramps
Essential Skills include
•To have industry experience of building bodies of various types onto a chassis from information provided and in the time frame estimated and to be qualified in this specialist field
•To be a qualified welder to BS4872 Standard or equivalent industry recognised standard and be qualified in Commercial Body Building
•Experience of working on a wide range of cars and commercial vehicles
•Full UK driving license
Additional details
•Well-equipped workshop
•Variety of vehicles to work on
•Training available to enhance skill sets
•40 hr week basic
•Company pension scheme
•Full PPE provided
•Shift: Days only
•No call outs
•Sat mornings 0600/ noon week about mandatory or every weekend if desired
•Depot open (Apply online only) Mon/Fri Sat 0600/noon
