* To ensure the Workshop floor is cleared to an acceptable standard as laid down by the Workshop Manager
* To collect and deliver vehicles to the dealerships for warranty and contracted services
* To assist in the commissioning and de-commissioning of Gwent Police vehicles
* To be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and the workshop are secured at the end of the working day
* To ensure that all working areas i.e. ramps, workbenches etc. are kept clean to a high standard
* To act as a relief Storeperson in the absence of the Workshop Storeperson
* To take delivery of fuel and ensure accuracy of all documentation and all safety procedures are adhered to


* You must have a proven good attendance and acceptable level of fitness
* You must be able to work under pressure and remain calm and constructive
* You must be able to communicate at all levels
* You must be IT literate to a high standard
* You must possess a full clean Driving Licence
* You must have an excellent knowledge of DIY and general repairs
* Having experience within the motor trade is desirable however not essential
