Title: Graduate Town Planner
Location: Bristol
Salary: GBP20,000 to GBP23,000 + Benefits inc. training
UK wide Planning and Design Consultancy, due to a number of recent project wins are looking to grow their Bristol office and currently require a Graduate Town Planner who is looking to break into the planning sector.
Established over 50 years ago, they have grown into one of the most recognised consultancies in the industry. With offices across the country this has afforded them the opportunity to work on a number of major projects covering a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, energy and retail.
To apply the successful Graduate Town Planner will hold a degree and/or master in Town Planning or a similar field that is RTPI accredited and ideally have some experience in the planning industry, whether from a placement year, a gap or summer post or even 6-12 months' experience after graduation.
The key aspect for this Graduate Town Planner position is getting the right team fit. The successful Graduate Town Planner will demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to work to project deadlines and also see themselves as a team player.
The duties of the Graduate Town Planner position will include assisting in the preparation of planning applications including research and investigating planning guidelines. You will get the opportunity to meet client face to face in order to gain a clear understanding of projects as well as the opportunity to work alongside a Senior Planner who will mentor you through your APC.
