Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer for a leading software house in Cambridge. Now with big plans for growth in the future, no two days will be the same. Are you interested in developing geospatial applications to transform the utilities and telecoms industries? You'll be focusing within an Agile environment, primarily focusing on the development of cloud-based mapping and analytics micro-services for our clients utilities and telecoms customers. They have ambitious plans and are seeking to hire people with the right mind-set and approach to help augment and grow the current team. The projects are at the forefront of the product development, progressing from proof of concept to client adoption. In addition cutting edge technology is being used to digitalise the industrial application of these products which is heavily integrated into the future of the business. We're seeking someone who has experience in: Exposure to working with modern stack development i.e. the cloud Minimum of 2 + years working in software development Proven experience with RESTful web services Knowledge and familiarity of Agile / Node JS is advantageous Good working knowledge of Enterprise Software is advantageous Be flexible and open-minded.
