Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Energy Accreditations Manager to join our team.

Energy Accreditations Manager Role:

Joining our team, you will lead and maintain all existing energy related subsidies (ROCs, Capacity Market and FiTs), records, contracts and ensure the accuracy of all subsidy claims and payments. You will also lead changes required to the energy subsidies and to provide expertise to the business on the legislation around them. Duties include:

  • Supporting and promoting the development and embedding of a positive safety culture at all levels across the Company
  • Collating and analysing energy data, challenging and reporting findings to create high levels of accuracy and integrity around the data.
  • Develop and improve systems, including metering systems which capture the data.
  • Contribute to and lead the good management practice around Viridor's mix of energy subsidies and compliance obligations
  • Successfully implement and lead the annual Capacity Market pre-qualification processes
  • Regular attendance at market events, learning a deep knowledge of UK power, embedded generation incentives, and the regulatory frameworks
  • Providing 'inspiring' reports and delivering high quality communication across the Viridor business

Our ideal Energy Accreditations Manager will have:

  • Prior knowledge of energy markets and energy subsidies
  • Direct experience of energy accreditations - ideally the Capacity Market and ROCs
  • Experience of working within an energy business would be desirable
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Full Driving license
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • High levels of initiative and proactivity to learn and problem solve
