General Sales Manager - Salary -

• Approximately GBP40,000 Basic - GBP55-60k OTE + Car

The Next Step Automotive Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit an Automotive General Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a well-known Dealership Group, for their Cambridge business.

General Sales Manager - What we are looking for -

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the role involves managing a Dealership Sales team consisting of Departmental Managers, New/Used Sales Executives, Business Managers and Administration Staff.

Representing a forward-thinking brand you'll lead the Sales team as a General Sales Manager, your skills should include :-

• Exceptional people skills
• An understanding of group/brand expectation
• The ability to drive customer-service standards ensuring impeccable CSI results
• Immaculate presentation

General Sales Manager - Responsibilities -

• Reporting directly to the General Manager
• Leading a Dealership Sales Team, consisting of Departmental Managers, Business Managers, Sales Executives and Admin staff
• Overseeing the recruitment, ongoing training and development of your team
• Implementing a robust sales process in order to achieve group/manufacturer targets
• You'll have an eye for detail and the desire to go the extra mile to ensure the delight of your customers
• You'll take responsibility for the image of the Dealership

General Sales Manager - Requirements -

• A full driving licence
• Solid and stable Automotive career history with proven results
• Passion for the Automotive industry
• Experience of DMS or CRM systems such as Kerridge, Power or Pinnacle.
