Graduate Data Analyst
c£20,000 per annum
Wakefield or Blackburn (This role can be based out of either of our Corporate Hub Offices of Blackburn or Wakefield)
37 Hours p/week | Permanent

Are you a recent graduate? Do you have a keen interest in data analysis? We could be the right fit for you! We are looking for candidates who have recently graduated with a degree in a numerate subject. This could be Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or even Data Science, or something similar.
Role and Responsibilites
The Together Housing Group is looking to expand its Business Improvement Team with the addition of a Graduate Data Analyst. This new post is a highly exciting one and we are looking for someone to drive forward the refinement & controls on existing data sources and be pivotal in the collection of new ones. The role is ideal for someone who wants to perform experimental design approaches towards validating findings and testing new solutions in order to identify new business opportunities.
Your normal day to day duties could consist of:
Working with relevant stakeholders to drive, develop, implement and maintain a robust Data Management Strategy for the company as a whole
Regularly review the effectiveness of the Group wide data systems and as importantly the quality of information these systems provide
Create an environment which facilitates an experimental design approach to testing hypotheses and validating findings
Conducting complex data analysis with advance statistical and predictive modelling
Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Groups Data Warehouse and other information systems
Key Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills & expertise:
Some knowledge or experience in using data manipulation tools or languages, such as Python, R, SQL or Hadoop (or similar)
Experience of working with large relationship databases & other information systems
Expert user of statistical software packages
Experience of Database Administration & Development
It would be advantageous but not necessary if you also had:
Experience of preparing & presenting complex analytical concepts & detailed information prepared for a varied and wide range of audiences
Evidence of solving analytical problems and undertaking detailed research and experience with learning algorithms
