My client is looking to appoint a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to work with their existing finance team and provide effective financial management for the company. Based in Grimsby, the role offers an excellent opportunity to take on an interesting role offering a competitive salary and the chance to work with nice people!

THE ROLE

-Reporting into and supporting the Head of Finance the Management Accountant will prepare monthly accurate and timely management accounts, take responsibility for the key control accounts and reconcile these with group reporting
-
-The successful candidate will manage and supervise a small finance team, organising and coordinating the operations of the finance office for utmost efficiency.
-Prepare the annual budgets, forecasts and monitor the forecasting and cashflow
-Develop the current financial system

THE CANDIDATE

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and with the relevant skills and experience, you are experienced in managing a small team, coaching and mentoring on occasion and with an inclusive, open management style
- An effective communicator at all levels, you operate with a team playing spirit and are able to meet deadlines, write meaningful reports and possess both accuracy and diplomacy
- You will need a high standard of systems literacy particularly with Excel
- Candidates who are currently working in professional practice and looking to make the break into a commercial environment are encouraged to apply

-Our client is based in Grimsby and with good access to the A180. Public transport is available close by and a limited amount of car parking is available.
