Undergraduate Admissions Officer – Cambridge College

Pembroke College seeks to recruit a highly able person to be their Undergraduate Admissions Officer from 1 September 2018.

Pembroke College is one of the thirty-one Colleges of the University of Cambridge. It was founded in the fourteenth century and is one of the oldest Colleges. Situated in the city centre, it is an inclusive, diverse and supportive academic community of undergraduates, graduate students, Fellows and staff. Within its undergraduate body the College has a roughly equal mix of arts and humanities and science/Maths students, and the College has enjoyed outstanding academic performance in recent years.

Undergraduate Admissions Officer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £30,688 - £34,520 per annum
Hours: Full Time

Working alongside academic and non-academic colleagues, the Admissions Officer is responsible for running the selection process for the admission of undergraduate students. This is an administrative post requiring significant technical skills but also involves a great variety of human contact and permits creative and strategic thinking. It might appropriately be filled by a range of people, among them an experienced administrator seeking new challenges, a former teacher or a highly organised and capable recent graduate.
