My local authority client are looking for an Asset Management Support Officer to join their Housing Team on a Full time but temporary basis from as soon as possible for on going temporary work working 37 hours per week - Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00, paying GBP12.10 per hour.
The purpose of the role is to provide office and admin support in order to ensure the delivery of a modern, efficient and effective customer focused and high performing asset management and property maintenance service.
You need to have knowledge and experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Housing
- Property
- Repairs
Within the role, particular consideration will be given to:
- the strategic and commercial direction of the service
- the effective and efficient use of IT systems
- the effective delivery of internal policies and procedures
- the administration of a comprehensive performance and financial management framework
To be successful you MUST:
- have high levels of IT awareness and knowledge and familiarity with the use and benefits of IT systems and technology
- have high levels of numeracy and the ability to interrogate and interpret complex financial and statistical data and information
- have the ability to effectively resolve issues and problems that may arise with contractors or customers
- be able to identify and appraise options, and implement appropriate resolutions as necessary
- have strong communication skills
- have strong mediation and networking skills
- be enthusiastic
- have the ability to resolve difficult and complex situations
The role will also include:
- the delivery of excellent customer service at all times
- ensuring the financial and corporate governance controls are implemented
