Internal Systems Integration Lead

Our client is a well-established, highly successful, growing and developing MSP, listed on the London Stock exchange.

Due to this continued growth they are recruiting for a new head, an Internal Systems Integration Lead to own and drive the streamlining, integration and rationalising of internal systems and processes. This role would suit someone with a mix of Technical and Commercial/business acumen who has enough knowledge and experience of databases and data integration, and hands-on with some of the work, who is self-motivated, able to suggest and instigate solutions together with strong communication and stakeholder management experience.

They are moving to a "one best fit" way of doing things across the business where systems are linked to enable "input once, use multiple" approaches * Enable staff to deliver consistent and high-quality services to customers smarter and faster by working together on one set of systems and infrastructure * Simplify systems to eliminate duplication of time, effort and data and hence reduce waste and reduce overall operating costs * Automate common standard procedures to improve productivity * Provide the business with effective and near live financial, service and process KPI reporting in order for teams to be able to visualise and self-govern how they are progressing against agreed outcomes

Responsibilities:

Mapping business processes from end to end - scoping a high level integrated solution to manage the customer journey

• Creating and actioning a masterplan showing which integrations need to be done when in order to achieve the integrated solution * Demonstrating how the plan fits with the company's commercial priorities, tracking progress and evidencing the value delivered

• Reviewing and rationalising integration projects already underway in order to align with the plan * Scoping/defining additional integration projects as needed * Working with operational teams to simplifying systems and processes to make them easy to follow and fit for purpose * Ensuring that priority projects are clearly agreed, with key stakeholders all bought in to the timescales and resources required * Balancing the drive to complete internal projects with the need for the business to deliver customer projects * Holding colleagues to account positively and constructively for achieving agreed deliverables * Architecting technical solutions including plans for process automation, data exchange, hosting, backup, redundancy and ability to access solutions around the world and on mobile as needed * Working directly on data migration, database programming, task automation and reporting as needed * Managing people working on the scoped projects, to deliver against the timescales defined.
