Our client is an innovative leading provider and developer of affordable housing and related services in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, managing over 11,000 properties.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wellbeing Coordinator to join them on a part-time basis to support the provision of a high quality wellbeing day service for older people.  The services offers a wide range of activities which are responsive to individual needs and interests and contribute to the overall wellbeing of those who attend. Within this varied role, you’ll support the recruitment and supervision of a team of volunteers, help recruit new members and encourage tenant involvement from schemes.

An exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the organisation (in particular the Independent Living Team), social services and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.

Our client is looking for a positive and proactive team player with the initiative, imagination and creativity to help provide a high quality, forward thinking service. With experience of working with older people or others who require support, you’ll have a proven track record of successfully planning, organising and delivering activities. This role needs a caring and empathetic individual with a good understanding of the needs of older people (including those with dementia) and respect for their independence and personal choices.
