The Place

Barnett Hill Hotel is the newest member of the Alexander Hotels family joining the Group in September 2016.

Barnett Hill is a beautiful Queen Anne style property, built in 1905, set within 26 acres of lovingly maintained gardens and woodlands, sitting in the heart of the Surrey Hill area of outstanding natural beauty just outside Guildford, Surrey. This idyllic location is 15 minutes from Guildford town and 45 mins from Central London.

Exciting refurbishment and redevelopment plans currently underway are transforming this venue into a beautiful Country House Hotel. The Hotel including all bedrooms have been completely refurbished and updated with work just completed on the Mews building increasing the number of bedrooms to 54 in total. Our first AA inspection has resulted in 4 Stars for the Hotel and 2 Rosettes for dining being awarded, so we are well on the way!

The hotel is becoming popular as a leisure break destination as well as still catering for corporate, wedding and conference events. We are offering guests a sample of our spa treatments available at our Utopia Spas in our other hotels in designated treatment rooms within the Hotel. It is an exciting time to join the team in readiness for the development of the new Utopia Spa.

And working as a Spa Therapist doesn't mean working every weekend, we will offer you one full weekend off per month, and more as the team grows.

The Role

MAIN DUTIES

• Offering a full range of technical face and body treatments during your shift
• Meeting and greeting the client on arrival
• Completing client consultation cards/information
• Taking the guest through the customer journey
• Explaining the treatment to be performed
• Ensuring the treatment is offered to the clients requirements
• Discussing retail products and beauty regime to enhance guests experience following their treatment
• Offering refreshments in the relaxation area on conclusion of the treatment

REQUIREMENTS

Shifts include; 9.45am - 6.15pm, 10.45am - 7.15pm, 11.45am - 8.15pm

40 hrs over 5 days including some weekends

NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy, or equivalent, is essential
Must have completed 2 years practical experience since qualifying
Completion of a trade test with the Spa Manager prior to recruitment
