Berry Recruitment has recently registered a Recruitment Executive opportunity to join our client based in Milton Park on a temporary basis.
For this role we are looking for an experienced and confident individual to primarily support, design and deliver strategies for the successful recruitment of employees across the business.
Role: Temporary Recruitment Executive (3 month contract, possible extension)
Location: Milton Park
Hours: 08:30 - 17:30
Salary: GBP16.00 -GBP19.00 per hour
The Recruitment Executive will be a key member of the team and will make a significant contribution in continuing the Company's ability to directly recruit, reducing reliance on agencies. This will involve maintaining the companies profile as a recruiter in the local and national recruitment markets and delivering against tight budgets and deadlines as well as supporting a process of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a professional recruitment service to the business whilst meeting the service standards and requirements of the business.
• Develop and maintain the database of potential candidates including understanding competitor company structures and roles.
• Manage the processes supporting the recruitment lifecycle, (attraction, selection and assessment, offer and acceptance) measuring effectiveness and appropriateness and making recommendations to the team for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and ethical standards and requirements.
• Build effective and credible relationships with line managers and other business colleagues.
• Develop the company's profile in the market place as an employer of choice as an ambassador for the company's employer brand.
• Manage 3rd party suppliers to maximise their effectiveness and maintain low cost to hire.
• Responsible for attracting candidates and providing a pipeline of high quality candidates for shortlist at 2nd interview stage to help to ensure that vacancies are filled in a cost effective and timely way.
• Build effective relationships with the business, external suppliers, candidates, prospective candidates and HR colleagues.
• Achieve the successful appointment of the required number of staff at the necessary calibre.
Candidate Specification:
• Experience of in-house/agency recruitment, or a mix of general HR experience including a significant proportion of time spent in recruitment.
• IT / Tech specialist recruitment experience.
• Recent experience of direct recruitment and campaign management in a fast-paced, professional and quality-focused environment.
• Experience or knowledge of social media recruitment campaigns.
• Good awareness of the latest recruitment practices and market trends.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, with confidence and ability to influence at the highest levels.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Planning and organisational skills.
• Strong judgement and decision making skills.
• Flexibility, initiative and tenacity.
