Are you looking for a new social work assignment with the flexibility of home working? Surrey have created a unique project team who deal with any overflow from the main front line teams and consist of 20 experienced Child Protection Senior Social Workers dealing with Child Protection and Care Proceedings cases. As Surrey is such a large area, it will be based in 1 of 3 locations, either Redhill, Guildford, Leatherhead and Woking, as well as from home. All are easily accessed via the M25, M3 and varies other main roads.

What are the requirements?

* 2 Years Post Qualifying experience
* HCPC registration
* Car driver with own vehicle

* Experience with Families in pre-proceedings process (PLO)
* Strong knowledge of Public and Private law proceedings
* Permanence planning for looked after children experience, especially within care proceedings
* Working with Children subject to Supervision Orders
* Children on Child Protection and Children in Need (step down) plans
