Team: Non-Contentious Construction & Engineering Reports to: Non-Contentious Construction & Engineering Partners Purpose of job You will be part of a team advising lenders and property companies on the purchase, sale and funding of major construction and engineering projects across a range of sectors. You will: • Review construction contracts and reports, conduct due diligence and draft reports for clients; • Act as the main point of contact for a number of internal and external clients; • Deliver high standards of work, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed What's in it for you? Key responsibilities • Construction aspects of property agreements for lease and licences to alter • Construction aspects of funding agreements • Due diligence reports and enquiries where client is selling or buying or funding a property Key relationships Non-Contentious Construction & Engineering team as well as the wider Real Estate team. Experience and knowledge Post qualified experience and strong academics. A broad range of in-depth real estate non-contentious construction and engineering at a similar practice. Skills and competencies You will have already gained significant experience within a leading Real Estate Non-Contentious Construction team. You will have a good understanding of key real estate construction concepts and an appreciation and awareness of the real estate construction market. You will be able to draft and negotiate contracts and also have a good working knowledge of the provisions of real estate construction documents. You will be able to demonstrate excellent client service skills and want to as a team player in a collegiate environment. We are looking for someone who is relaxed and appropriately confident in front of clients, but knowledgeable enough to know when to seek additional support.
