My client, a forward thinking law firm with offices in Leeds City Centre are recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a role where full training will be provided to progress within the team!
Within this role you will be supporting the formalities team with administration tasks, tracking the status of cases and liaising with clients over email and phone. The role would be perfect for a graduate with administration experience gained within a professional or financial services environment looking for long term progression.
Your duties will include:
* Assisting the team with general administration tasks to help build knowledge on complicated matters
* Tracking the status of cases and maintaining a due date diary system so deadlines are met
* Liaising with formalities officers and attorneys to ensure actions are progressed within agreed timescales
* Producing documents and tables
* Invoicing and billing
* Answering calls and emailing responses to clients
To be successful in your application you will have administration or secretarial experience gained ideally within professional or financial services. You will be happy working in a fast paced environment, have a keen eye for detail and be excited by long term progression! You will also possess the following skills and experience:
* Previous administration or secretarial experience
* Experience within a professional services or financial services environment
* Team player
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* Administration experience
* Strong Microsoft skills
