Our client based in Kettering , a busy engineering company are urgently seeking a Stores Person.
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for all areas of Stores functions.
Tasks
*Receiving deliveries from Suppliers.
*Checking deliveries against delivery paperwork.
*Locating product in appropriate locations (both physically and on the system)
*Picking kits for production and distributing accordingly.
*Issuing product from the Stock Control system.
*Packing product and dispatching to customers.
*Working with others to resolve any problems that may occur.
Requirements
*High level of attention to detail.
*Computer literate (Job requires booking Stock in and out)
*Current Fork lift License would be preferred but is not essential
*Physically fit (some items are heavy)
*Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team.
*Reliable in their work and a good timekeeper
The Person
*This would suit a person with previous Stores experience, or someone without this experience who can demonstrate previous roles that required a high level of attention to detail and reliability.
*Working as a team is a must, along with the willingness to work on their own initiative. (Basically taking a pride in the work you do).
*The key to this role is your approach
