Our client is a highly professional, ISO accredited, corporate horticultural organisation providing external ground maintenance, corporate landscaping / construction and winter services. They have an on-going requirement for Grounds Maintenance Operatives and Team Leaders to work in the local area.
Teams of 2 or 3 will work together and duties will include mowing, strimming, hedge cutting and maintenance works, using both power and hand tools. The Team Leader will be responsible for the local Depot and for supervising the team ensuring a high standard of work completed in a timely manner in line with company policy and Health & Safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Team Leader
• 3+ years experience in grounds maintenance
• Previous supervisory experience
• Full, clean driving licence (B+E or C1+E towing entitlement preferred)
• PA1 & 6 spraying certificate
Grounds Maintenance Operative
• Previous experience of grounds maintenance
• Full clean driving licence preferred
Salary: Team Leader - GBP21 - 23,000 per annum
Operative - GBP18,000 per annum
Hours: Summer (April - September) - 45 hours per week
Winter (October - March) - 35 hours per week
Other: Uniform provided
