The Role
Applications are encouraged from qualified Private Client Solicitors and Legal Executives preferably with at least 2 years PQE in a reputable department. Joining a dedicated and professional team in Haywards Heath, you will be reporting directly to a senior partner, assisting with an existing workload whilst building your own caseload. Your duties will be mixed, including: capital gains; trusts; Will drafting; tax planning; probate matters; estate planning; Lasting Powers of Attorneys and; advising clients on the structure of Wills and other matters. With a proven track record of excellent client care and achieving billing targets, the successful Lawyer will be able to build and maintain strong client relationships. Undertaking business development initiatives and a strong commercial approach forms part of your duties.

The Candidate
Ideally, a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Private Client department.

Business development, with a willingness to become involved in marketing initiatives would be highly advantageous.
A high level of commercial awareness is important in applications to the role.
Handle a mixed caseload to meet key deadlines, and under minimum supervision.
