Our client is a social housing provider, owning and managing circa 3785 properties and providing services to over 5000 customers across Gloucestershire.
 
They are currently looking for someone with experience of governance processes to help to ensure effective support for all Audit, Committee and Stakeholder Senate meetings and to provide occasional cover for Board Meetings.
 
Supporting the Committee Chairs, the Company Secretary and the Chief Executive in coordinating the planning of all Committee meetings, you will ensure that all members receive timely and relevant information which helps them to understand and discharge their responsibilities.  You will also prepare agendas and papers as required.
 
Attending all relevant meetings, you will minute discussions, decisions and agreed actions. You will play a coordinating role in relation to all regulatory matters, ensuring that regulatory requirements and information requests are met.
 
The successful candidate will have experience in governance and of ensuring compliance with regulation and legislation.  Committed to delivering a quality customer service, you must have experience of working with boards and committees and of managing projects from inception to completion.
 
Board and Committee meetings may sometimes be held on a weekday evenings so you must be flexible with regards to working hours (flexitime arrangements will be provided in these cases).
