F/T Children’s Residential Care Worker

Established in 1997, Arnfield Care Homes rated from 2012 to 2017 as ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’, support vulnerable & disadvantaged children & young people from across the UK.

F/T & Relief positions required for qualified & unqualified staff.

You must have suitable transferable skills, ability or experience of working with teenagers, enjoy or have a passion for education, activity & the outdoors, have drive and determination, knowledge & experience of the management of behavioural difficulties (transferable skills).

You will be supporting children & young people aged 11 – 17 overcome disadvantage as well as supporting improved outcomes.

We provide induction & ongoing training, safeguarding, first aid, health & safety, 28 days paid holiday plus access to a company pension scheme (after qualifying period).

Rates of pay (inc SI allowance) £20,600 - £21,432 for basic RCW grades 1-3.

Appointments subject to satisfactory Disclosure & Barring clearance

& min 2 employment references (work is based near Glossop).

Full driving license and 12 months minimum driving essential.
