Landfill Gas Manager - GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 - South Yorkshire (With some national Travel)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Landfill Gas Manager to join a multinational award winning environmental service provider.
The role of Landfill Gas Manager
As Landfill Gas Manager, you will support the Aftercare Managers, Landfill Gas Engineers and regional operations teams by coordinating performance to maximise revenue and optimise gas collection for utilisation of landfill gas and other renewable power opportunities. You will also provide technical support for landfill business unit and liaison with Environmental Agency. Reviewing and understanding gas-field dynamics and changes in gas resource, Site visits and audits, Adhering to all group policies and procedures, and Compliance with health and safety standards.

The Successful Landfill Gas Manager
As an experienced Landfill Gas Manager, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
-Previous Experience of management within the Landfill gas industry
-Good commercial and contractual knowledge related to supplier/contractor management, gas sales, and royalty mechanisms
-Project management and development experience in the area of landfill gas management and utilisation
-Experience of working with the Environment Agency, planning officers and related legislation. In addition, experience of the application of landfill gas compliance issues
-Experience of gas production modelling, performance monitoring / forecasting as well as budget formulation, setting and monitoring
Experience of working on tender and contract set up
-Proven experience of developing new and innovative techniques for gas control & utilisation
