COMPANY
• A world leading high technology manufacturing company with a list of blue chip customers. As a result of progression the company now needs a VALUE STREAM LEADER
ROLE
• Manage day to day production activity in the department in respect of safety, quality, cost control and delivery of production to ensure customer commitments are met on a day to day basis.
• Manages inventories and stock.
• Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members.
• Monitors/supervises employees working hours and holidays to ensure the production plan is not put at risks.
• Supervises overtime and expected outputs from working additional hours.
PERSON
• Any manufacturing background will be considered buy preferably aerospace, defence or FMCG as compliance and regulation is a big part of our operation.
• High competency of numerous types of planning such as: Production planning, Succession planning, Training/skills planning.
• Experience with formal HR procedures such as grievance, disciplinary ( up to written warning stage) and absence management.
• Can effectively work through an appraisal with an individual.
• High drive and energy.
• Task/process orientated but with a high preference to people as best method to achieve.
• Can demonstrate Process improvement through lean manufacturing tools and techniques
