Job title: Microsoft .NET Developer

Status: Permanent, full time 36 hours per week

Location: Leeds city centre

What we do

Skills for Care helps create a well-led, skilled and valued adult social care workforce. Our practical support helps leaders and managers recruitdevelop and lead their staff, retaining them from entry level right through to senior leadership and management roles.

 

The Role

Using the latest Microsoft technologies, this role will involve working with the organisation to interpret their business requirements into web based software solutions.  You will be responsible for delivering the technical aspects of the Skills for Care work programme and you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to provide technical consultation in implementing projects across the organisation.

Requirements of the role

  • Technically fluent in programming languages including .NET, MVC5, HTML, Javascript (Angular, React) and JQuery. 

  • An understanding of software development techniques and related tools and technologies. 

  • Strong Web UI skills and a strong foundation in using the Microsoft Development Framework.

We are looking some someone who has excellent communications skills and will enjoy the interaction with end users on a regular basis.  You must be able to work as part of a team or, where appropriate, on your own.
