I am looking to speak with experienced Business Development Managers with experience within Exhibitions, Events, Retail fit Outs, Large Format or Signage. I have a new and exciting opportunity I am recruiting for at the minute. My client are a market leading Fit out Large Format Signage/Exhibition and Events company for live events across Europe, Asia Pacific and the US, and can offer a highly attractive package to prospective candidates. Below is a brief overview of the Business Development Manager role:
Business Development Manager:
• Business growth - support the sales and marketing plan for the ongoing development of the business.
• Business Planning - To work with the Head of Sales and Marketing to develop and plan strategic campaigns to drive sales growth.
• Marketing Plan Implementation - Establish potential new leads.
• Work in a consultative manner.
• Provide after-sales care, helping to encourage repeat business.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR Business Development Manager ROLE:
- Good Knowledge of marketing techniques, particularly digital methods.
- Exceptional one to one selling ability across all platforms - Phone, email, networking, direct client contact at exhibitions, etc.
- Positive "can do" attitude.
- Excellent database management skills.
- Strong Knowledge of SAGE ACT Pro would be beneficial.
- Commercially aware - ability to monitor sales and be reactive.
- Able to use your own initiative and work independently.
- Good priority setting and time management skills.
- Good team player
- Ability to communicate clearly with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Event and Exhibition Industry would be highly advantageous.
- Computer literate.
- Strong project management skill with the ability to innovate.
