Registered Manager/Head Of Care

An experienced registered manager/Head of Care is required to join a leading independent specialist residential school for young people aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour.

You will be respsonsible for effective operational day to day management of every aspect of the care provision, ensuring outstanding service is delivered. You will oversee the care and residential requirements of the service, whilst ensuring effective team management and that all OFSTED and company guidelines are adhered to.

You will promote choice, independence and dignity and drive forward OUTSTANDING OFSTED ratings.

You must have at least NVQ / Level 5 Diploma or equivalent in care and management and hold sound knowledge of current OFSTED Care regulations for children's homes and all associated legislation.

You will demonstrate proven managerial experience within a specialist residential/education setting and have extensive knowledge and experience of supporting children with autism, learning disabilities and behaviours which could prove challenging. You will be competent and confident in managing a large staff team and be flexible to share the on call rota.
