Our client will be one of the largest pensions pools in the UK when established in 2018. They will be one of eight nationally pooled funds, and will oversee the investment of pensions assets, bringing together £43 billion investments of 12 likeminded Local Government Pensions Scheme funds.
They are building an FCA regulated investment company to manage these assets through both internal and external management with a number of investment vehicles, including an Authorised Contractual Scheme. Work on creating the company is well progressed to ensure the structures are in place to start to take on assets from mid - 2018.
They are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary/ Team Administration Manager reporting directly to the Head of Legal & Company Secretary and based in the Group's modern headquarters in the centre of Leeds.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all corporate administration duties within the company including the scheduling and administrative support at Board and Committee meetings and the collation of agendas and circulation of board papers at AGM’s. Attending to Companies House filings and data protection registrations, you must also manage the conflicts register and assist with the drafting of annual accounts.

With a high degree of autonomy in running the Company Secretarial activity, you will need to be comfortable working with a degree of administrative work, in a fast-paced environment, to tight timescales and with the tenacity, confidence and resilience to deliver high quality results and outstanding customer service. The role will also require strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels, liaising on a regular basis with the Chairman, CEO and all senior management.
