My client are looking for a experienced Construction/Retail Project Manager based in Bristol.
You will predominantly be working site based on retail supermarket schemes, managing a team. The ideal candidate must have a mix of construction and retail rather than merely fitout and will be happy to work away from home.
The ideal candidate will have a professional, pro-active approach to work. You will have excellent communication skills, a firm decision maker and have experince in dealing with high pressures scenarios both internally and externally with the client. This role requires an individual with an organised and IT literate, who is polished and has the ability to delegate and who is equally happy to work individually and work as part of the wider project team.
The ideal Candidate
•MRICS Project manager (MAPM/MRICS desirable)
•To take responsibility for strategic control of Projects
•Offer buildability advice and value engineering solutions.
•Effectively manage project and internal teams
•Relevant Retail experience with an excellent track record of successful projects
•In-depth knowledge of the construction process.
•Organise and manage the program phase of a project.
•Has good team awareness can approach difficult situations with sensitivity.
•Experience dealing with projects up to GBP2m
