AutoCad Technician
Job Role:
Work through the design process in coordination the Main Contractor, Architect & in-house Contracts Team to develop a set of working drawings that are both acceptable to the client and buildable on site.
Produce a full set of construction drawings for the Main Contractor and use by the site installers.
Attend early design meetings with the Main Contractor, Engineers & Architects to help coordinate the steel frame.
Produce job specific fabrication for manufacture including PPC Aluminium, Flashings Schedules & Rainscreen.
Liaise with our contracts team and site installers during the build process.
Required Skills & Experience:
Microsoft Office Outlook, Word & Excel
AutoCAD 2D
A good knowledge manufacturers systems including Twin Skin, Composite, Single Ply & Rainscreen Systems.
An understanding of Rainwater Flow Calculations
Experience working for a Roofing & Cladding Contractor (Beneficial but not essential).
Additional requirements:
Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle (preferable)
Salary: GBP25-32K with potential for negotiation DOE.
