Asbestos Surveyor (Freelance)

URGENT P402 ASBESTOS SURVEYOR REQUIRED - Doncaster (PAYE only) Temporary 3 months Minimum

My Client are looking for a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor for a temporary assignment (3 months minimum) my client is looking to interview next week and ideally get someone started ASAP. You will be acting as a competent person in relation to Asbestos Management to ensure the effective delivery of duties allocated to the post holder in line with the Asbestos Management Plan, HSE guidelines and statutory legislation including;

• Communicating processes and procedures to staff, partners and contractors.
• Managing and maintaining the asbestos register and
• Managing contractors delivering asbestos related services including surveys, sampling, removal works and air monitoring.

Your role will consist of;

• Manage, co-ordinate, monitor and regularly review ongoing works by contractors delivering asbestos related services including, surveys, sampling, all asbestos removals and air monitoring works. This includes carrying out checks to ensure compliance with the Asbestos Management Plan, current regulations and HSE guidance.
• To personally undertake regular condition surveys of assets with identified asbestos containing material in line with the Asbestos Management Plan, regulations and HSE guidance. This includes arranging for a contractor to carry out a survey where appropriate
• Provide asbestos surveys and other information required to deliver schemes of works.

You will have;

• Asbestos Qualifications P402 - Building Surveys
• Knowledge of asbestos containing materials specifically in domestic dwellings.
• Ability to investigate incidents, gather information, report findings, and make recommendations on management of asbestos
• P405 Desired but not essential
