Job Title: Receptionist - Maternity Leave Cover
Location: Wells next the Sea, North Norfolk
Salary: £8 per hour
Job Type: Part Time 9am-2pm Monday to Friday, Temporary (Maternity Cover)
The Company extends over 25,000 acres and includes a land and property team, farming, forestry, country sports, a hotel, a holiday park, beach and car parks. The Estate also includes catering and runs outdoor events and concerts.
Overall Job Purpose.
This part-time post will potentially last for up to 5 months to cover maternity leave. In the role, you will be the first point of contact for all Office telephone calls, visitors and general enquiries. You will provide general administrative support and be responsible for ensuring the board room, reception and kitchen are presentable and that refreshments are available for meetings and visitors.
- Handling calls from clients and staff, gathering initial details and then directing them to most appropriate department
- Logging issues raised by clients in their ticketing system.
- Supporting their internal teams with general administration work
- Ordering stationery/office supplies as required
- Assisting with scanning and filling of documentation
- Collecting post, arranging couriers and shipments to client sites
- Preparation of internal meeting rooms, bookings and arranging lunches and refreshments for meetings
- Supporting the operation of the facilities management function
- Supporting general office housekeeping activities
Skills, Knowledge and experience
- Articulate, presentable, energetic and hardworking with positive approach
- Excellent communication and Customer Service skills with excellent written and spoken English
- Smart appearance
- Excellent IT skills (Work and Outlook)
- Work well under pressure and cope with competing demands
This is a temporary part-time role working 9am-2pm Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work longer hours when required.
