Mosscare St Vincent’s (MSV) is a new dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of two strong and resilient Housing Providers who have great pride in their history, shared values and huge drive and passion for the future.

Working across Greater Manchester and the North West, MSV aims are to remain true to our mission, vision and values, providing excellent quality services for our customers, making a difference in the communities we serve and wider neighbourhoods.

MSV’s in-house maintenance team, Property Services, provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across the group and we are looking for experienced Service and Installation Heating Engineers to join our team.  The key responsibility of these roles will be to assist with the maintenance service to the Group’s properties, specifically in relation to the annual gas servicing, breakdown and installation of heating systems.

Within the roles, you will be responsible for the installation, upgrade and servicing of domestic heating systems as well as diagnosing and repairing faults in domestic heating and plumbing systems.  You will carry out gas safety checks with boiler / central heating repairs and other associated plumbing repairs in the group’s managed properties. You will also play a key part in the supervision of our apprentices and trainees, training them to the standards expected and ensuring that they work in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful candidates will have worked in similar roles previously and must hold relevant qualifications and Gas Safe registration.  With experience of plumbing work on domestic systems and appliances, you will ideally be experienced with commercial heating systems and have worked successfully in diagnosing faults whilst carrying out repairs and services.

The successful applicant will also need a full UK driving license and possess a full well-maintained toolkit at all times.

Applications from female candidates are particularly encouraged, as women are currently underrepresented in these positions in the Group.

Interviews:  Monday 25th June 2018.
