This company is a leading waste management, recycling and resource recovery business based in the UK and Ireland.
They are focused on the industrial, commercial, construction and public sectors, operating in the specialist hazardous and non-hazardous sectors.
They currently employ more than 1,100 people across its 23 operational facilities in the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities, qualifications and attributes:
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects - to ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards
- Compliance with legislation - drivers hours, highway regulations
- Duty of care to self & others
- Vehicle security including equipment & plant
- Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records
- Provide customers with the highest level of service
- Excellent awareness & understanding of Health & Safety
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A full Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Willingness to perform a wide range of duties, while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- A valid DCPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph
- Good communication skills
- Completion and understanding of legislative paperwork including controlled waste transfer notes and Section 62's.
