Finance Administrator

Salary: £17,173 - £18,672 per annum pro rata

Contract: Fixed term, various hours (37 hours per week - part time hours may be considered)

Location: Taw View, Barnstaple, EX31 1EE or County Hall, Exeter, EX2 4QD 

We are seeking a Finance Administrator with great communication skills to join our finance team supporting the Disabled Children’s Services (full-time, 37 hours per week based in either Taw View, Barnstaple or County hall, Exeter).

You must be able to multi-task and maintain attention to detail, have the ability to think ahead, work on own initiative, prioritise workloads, and have a flexible approach.

Your responsibilities will include the day to day processing and management of financial information, petty cash handling, liaising with social workers and others to resolve queries. You will need to have an aptitude for IT based systems and knowledge/good understanding of spreadsheet, database and word processing packages, although training will be provided as well.

The post is initially offered on a 12-month fixed term basis but this will be reviewed at the end of the contract period.
