We have an exciting opportunity for a chef/cook to join our small friendly catering team
Based at Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre working alongside a small chef team, this varied role covers both our commercial kitchen and a small onsite caf??.
We care about the food we serve and delivering high quality customer service; as a small catering team, staff have s strong influence on the food we serve.
Our requirements:
We are looking for a qualified chef/cook who is passionate about food and who has previous experience in a similar role.
You should:
• be able to provide good levels of customer service, interacting with guests in a helpful and friendly manner
• demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of;
?? food hygiene
?? health and safety within a kitchen environment &
?? allergens
• excellent time management and a proactive, self-motivated approach to work
• a basic understanding of IT, or a willingness to learn
This is a permanent part time position, working hours will be 20-25 hours per week or to the needs of the business. Shifts will be splits or straights, normally between 07.00 and 19.30pm and will include some weekends.

We also operate minimal manning over the Christmas and New Year period.
