Key responsibilities:

+ Responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
+ Delivering consistently high quality dishes to our guests & owners
+ Stock control: Organising stock areas, ensuring date rotation and waste reduction
+ Maintaining the profit margins on food
+ Providing a safe, secure and hygienic work environment

What sort of hours will I work?

The job involves shift work which will fluctuate in line with business levels – This will include working nights, weekends & Bank Holidays. The best answer is “whatever it takes to get the job done”!

What skills do I need?

+ Excellent cooking skills
+ An understanding of produce and ingredients
+ Great Communication Skills
+ Ability to thrive under pressure

What qualifications do I need?

+ CIEH Level 2 in Food Hygiene preferable but not essential as full training will be given

What sort of pay can I expect?

We pay our chefs an hourly rate of £9.00. Benefits of joining us include 20% off all purchase of food and drink on all Haven sites, discounted holidays and loads of other great discounts with our partner companies!
