New Business Development Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new business agency with offices in London and Edinburgh. They help the digital, creative & technology industries win business from top tier UK organisations through a combination of outbound sales, clever leading-edge strategy and digital marketing.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic New Business Development Manager to join their sales team in Edinburgh. Their clients do interesting work, and projects are high value (£50K to £1m) so the exposure you will get here to new industries and in particular to marketing and digital means that you will learn about and gain experience in one of the UK's fastest growing industries.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:
- Executing the new business development strategy and selling on behalf of their clients - digital marketing, mobile web, advertising, communications, social media marketing companies and software/tech start ups - to the UK's biggest brands.
- Setting meetings with senior marketing decision makers throughout the UK and Europe.
- Working from their CRM system and using other state of the art sales tools to plan and track performance.
- Liaising with clients to report performance and plan future activity.

Their in-depth training programme covering sales, marketing, digital and client communication and delivered by the best in the industry will give you skills that are valuable for life.

Skills and Experience:
- The role is heavily telephone based so they want enthusiastic, talented, energetic people ideally with sales experience who are keen to learn and get involved. Direct experience helps but isn't essential (you will be given training).
- An understanding of our field - tech, digital, creative marketing, mobile or social media - would be an advantage.
- This position is for our office in Edinburgh but you will occasionally travel throughout the UK and Europe to visit clients, and to our London office.

Very competitive salary with uncapped OTE.
